Over the years my family and I have been very fortunate to have had the opportunities to travel to some very wonderful places. We like to share these memories with friends and family, so we decided to give this web site a try. Now I can talk about it and show some of our favorite pictures and tell about all the good and bad things happening along the way of each one and not worry about how many times we have told the story or showed the pictures.
I hope that our visitors will find our adventures interesting and possibly even helpful. One thing I catch myself doing before any trip is getting on line and trying to get all the information I can on the area I am going to. I am sure there are alot people just like us, so I hope I can offer some helpfull hints to others on the places we have been. I know alot of people do not like to have a plan and just let whatever happens happen. I can't handle that. I need to have a good idea of how far I need to drive today to make sure I am on time for tomorrow. I would rather be the "whatever happens kindof guy", but I think when I was kid on vacation with my parents, we must have experinced a no plan type of trip and been caught with no motel reservations, at 11:00 pm somewhere near Sturgis South Dakota, out of gas and hungry. All I remember is I thought at the time was when I got old enough to worry about traveling is I would have a reservation planned for each night so I would not have to wonder if we would have to spend the night along the roadside,which we have. That'll come later.
